FinCen Registry-BOI Reporting

**ATTENTION**  On February 28th, 2025, the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN) has announced the beneficial ownership information (BOI) registration requirement for most companies that was previously set for March 21st, 2025 will be extended.  Currently FinCEN has not announced a new registration deadline, but has declared all enforcement is currently suspended.  This once again halts the registration requirement, although companies may still voluntarily register.  Please visit the FinCEN website at https://fincen.gov/boi for the most current information.

The BOI registration is a completely separate filing requirement to your tax filings and while our office is not assisting with the registration process directly, we do wish to notify all affected individuals.  If you are an owner of a business and wish to voluntarily register with FINCEN, we highly encourage you to visit the registration webpage: https://boiefiling.fincen.gov/boir/html
